FAQ
Am I a good fit?
If you're looking for more than just investment management, if you want a partner who will deeply understand your full financial life and walk alongside you through life’s major decisions, then yes, you're likely a great fit. We work best with business owners, executives, and families navigating complexity, people who value stewardship, trust, and proactive planning. If you care about doing things the right way, not just the easy way, we're probably your people.
Do I need to have a certain amount of wealth to work with you?
We work with a wide range of clients, from successful professionals and business owners to families navigating retirement. Many of our clients have complex financial lives — equity comp, business ownership, or multi-generational planning — but the real qualifier is whether you want a partner who will look at your whole picture.
Do you do tax planning?
Yes, and not in a surface-level way. Tax strategy is deeply integrated into our planning process. From reading and analyzing your tax return to identifying proactive opportunities, our approach is designed to reduce your tax burden now and over time. We believe every financial decision has a tax implication, and if your current advisor isn’t reading your tax return, they’re missing half the picture.
What if I already have a financial advisor?
Many of our clients came to us after working with another advisor. Once they saw the difference in depth, transparency, and integration, they knew it was the right fit. You don’t have to “start over” — we’ll meet you where you are and build on the work you’ve already done.
What makes Perspective Wealth different from other financial advisors?
Many firms focus on either selling products or managing investments. We go deeper. We integrate your taxes, estate plan, equity compensation, business, and investments into one panoramic strategy. We’re known for reading your tax return, mapping your entire balance sheet, and finding opportunities others miss. Our role isn’t just advisor — it’s advocate.
How does your pricing work?
We believe in transparent pricing and tailored services. Depending on your needs, we offer both flat-fee financial planning and asset-based management models. There’s no pressure, no product pushing, just clarity around what you’re paying and the value you receive. We’ll walk you through every detail before you ever commit to anything.
What are your qualifications?
Our team brings deep technical expertise across financial planning, tax strategy, estate planning, and investment management. We're a firm built on excellence. Our advisors include CFP® professionals and CPAs with years of experience navigating real-world financial challenges. But what truly sets us apart isn’t just the credentials. It’s the level of thought, clarity, and care we bring to every relationship.
Do you manage investments in-house?
Yes. We manage portfolios directly, without pushing products or prepackaged models. Our investment strategies are custom-built to align with your goals, risk tolerance, tax situation, and estate plan. And we’ll explain everything in plain language so you feel confident, not overwhelmed.
Can you help with taxes?
We don’t file tax returns, but we do deep, comprehensive tax planning. That means reviewing your return line by line, collaborating with your CPA, and building strategies to reduce your lifetime tax burden. Whether it’s Roth conversions, equity comp timing, or business deductions, taxes are built into every recommendation we make.
Do you work with business owners?
Absolutely. Many of our clients are founders, owners, or executives. We help with entity structure, partnership agreements, succession planning, liquidity events, and aligning business strategy with personal wealth. Clients often say we’re the first team that understood both their tax return and their balance sheet—and brought it all together.
Can you help with stock options and equity compensation?
Yes. We specialize in RSUs, ISOs, ESPPs, and complex stock grants. We model different scenarios, help you time sales and diversification, and integrate everything with your taxes and long-term plan. Equity comp can be tricky — we help you maximize it without surprises.
Do you only work with clients in Colorado?
No. While our headquarters is in Loveland, Northern Colorado, we work with clients across the country. We meet virtually, in person, or both—whatever works best for you.
What happens after the initial planning engagement?
If we’re a good fit, you can choose to continue into an ongoing partnership. That means proactive strategy, regular check-ins, coordination with your CPA or attorney, and a partner who stays five moves ahead as your life evolves.
